Padsplit was the worst experience of my life. They put me in a house that was full of mold, water leaks and cockroaches.

If you're thinking about downloading this app & becoming part of PadSplit, DON'T DO IT. Consider this a warning. This is not just about the app. It reflects my overall experience with PadSplit & its support system. I had serious property issues, provided screenshots & detailed explanations, and tried repeatedly to get help. After more than 40 days, I still haven't received a meaningful response/resolution. I tried to leave & even transfer to another property & they kept me trapped with penalties

was fine until i moved out and two days later saw that my membership was 'expired' and in order to rebook i must start all over, maybe even lower, but that means a new app fee, which means they are fraudelent just like the average apartment complex that wrongfully charges people app fees. We accept it, because thats the way it is, that does not make it right. Basically a application fee for a place to live is like you paying a gas station to walk inside their store. right makes zero sense, same.

I was denied in 2 minutes.& it was a hard noooo. I just wonder why? My credit score isn't to bad and I have a good full time job. But honestly I know the reason I have an eviction. I mean you pay rent weekly with no lease right?

I tried to report a landlord who was an alcoholic with screenshots. The landlord gave a bad review, and you would think with proof Padsplit would remove that bad review but nope. They side with the landlord every time and bad reviews stay on your account even if they're lies. so its impossible to rent another room Because another landlord sees those bad reviews. better to use spare room or roomies , or you could be on the street for reporting your landlord with no way to move to another room.

padsplit is a great option if it's an emergency but beware they will discriminate against you. they will not help with issue with your host & they allow criminal behavior to happen on the propertys. no commcation with host & several times have I been scared to come out my room.

Good premise, but no options for women only housing. and I mean biological women. I have two male friends who use this & are saving a lot of money, but I wouldn't feel safe in those houses.

It's horrible, they overcharge you, don't give you a live agent to help with billing issues and do not respond to there emails. do not trust this app. this needs to be reported to the better business bureau!!! if you want to be left homeless!! use the app.
