they make it sound so great and I asked if it was free and they told me yes but it's not for free so it's not for me

We're sorry for the confusion, Brian. A genuinely free version does exist with core bias features at no cost. When you see the trial screen look for a Sign In or Continue for free option, no payment required. We hope you'll give the free version another try!

didn't like the layout. it felt cluttered and un organized. I tried to hit the little tiny X and faild every time. Also it is pushy, do this oh you haven't done this thing yet, allow notifications. NO!

You can always manage notification preferences under Profile -> Settings at any time. Would you consider giving it another try?

Awesome. I would like more options under the "see less of" screen that pops up when pressing "see less of" under each post. For example I don't want to see sports news. But, a post showed something about, people being banned from wearing "anti-trans" shirts at women's basketball games. That's relevant news with my preference.

Thank you for the sharp feedback! Stories can overlap topics and a sports venue story may also carry a politics or civil rights tag. Try using Show Me Less on individual stories to fine-tune your feed. If you have any examples, please write to us at feedback@ground.news.
